The Next Smart Step

You are not planning in a crisis. You are planning in steps. The board — Go or Chess — shows you exactly where you stand. From there, two doors: A or B. One move, not five. Then read again.

1. Read the room

Open the Chessboard or a Go game. Don't move yet. See who is on the board — self, managers, opportunities, obstacles — and where the empty space is. Your scope is real; you are tapping into space and time, not opinion.

2. Get two moves, not ten

Reginald will hand you A and B — the highest-value play and the solid continuation. Both keep you in the game. Pick one. Ignore the rest of the noise.

  • A · Best. Advance the weakest file. Compounds optionality on the next 2–3 turns.
  • B · Solid. Reinforce the strongest file. Keeps the position; buys another turn to see.

3. Move — then read again

You are moving up the ladder every time you play. The board is where you key in each day. Your business decisions, personal decisions, family decisions — same board, same method. Not planning in crisis. Planning in steps.
